Archery Elk Hunts

(September Rut Season)

  • Starts the first weekend of September

  • Best bugling activity: mid-to-late September

  • 5x5 and 6x6 bulls are not uncommon

  • Experience the raw thrill of calling in a screaming bull at bow range

Rifle Elk Hunts

(Season runs October 10–24)

  • Off-road access gives you a better shot at finding a trophy bull

  • Hunts range from timbered trails to wide-open hillsides and wallows

Before You Book

Born after Jan 1, 1975? You’ll need a hunter education certificate or proof of a valid hunting license from any state. Requirements can change, so we’ll confirm details when you book.

Valid non-resident elk tags, excluding non-resident junior mentored elk tags, can also be used to take a bear, mountain lion, or gray wolf (when in season in the same unit).
